It’s been a hot summer this year with lots of time spent at the beach or pool so I thought I would continue with a summer theme for this post and feature resort wear. Although they are very similar, I would say the difference between beach and resort wear is that resort wear you can take from the beach or pool to a bar/shops/restaurant by adding some sandals/wedges and maybe some extra jewellery.
What I like most about the dress I’m wearing in this post is that it’s light enough to wear at the beach or by the pool, has good coverage to protect your skin, isn’t too short (a preference of mine you may have noticed!) and has a very pretty colour and print. It is also totally transferrable to another setting by adding aforementioned accessories. I found this dress in a store at Avalon Beach called Rust. If you’re ever up that way it has a beautiful selection of homewares, furniture, fashion and jewellery. Being a beach suburb and holiday destination for Sydney locals they always have a great range of stylish resort wear available.
I’ve also included below a selection of other gorgeous resort wear that has caught my eye – the Country Road and Zimmermann ones are on sale at the moment too so a great time to grab a bargain as these are styles that are unlikely to date.
Until next time
